On the 19 of September we did a taster lunch, we did a taster lunch so we could understand other people's cultures and we also did for Peace One Day.

It was National Literacy Day so my partner and I made a monster bookmark.

It was very fun making them, I like to do it again.

I was learning to write a peace poem,

I found it hard because I didn't know what words to write,

Next time I would put more descriptive words in.

I found it hard to write a speech because I didn't know what to write about 

Next time I need to work on making my speech longer and I need more eye contact

My Reflection

I was learning to reorder Kensuke's Kingdom and to support my choices with a reason. I found it easy to reorder them but the football picture was the trickiest because it could go at the beginning or the end.

I am learning to write a story opening in a dialogue style ,

I found it easy because I know where to put the speech mark but I forgot the punctuation in between the speech mark.

 I am learning to write a poster using persuasive features, when we first started we had problem thinking of a rhetorical question, we use a lot colour and pictures, I think that the group did great.

Reflection Term 2 Week 9

I have  improved my scores but sometimes I drop. This is when I am tired. I need to try and not get too tired.  I still need to work on my subtraction.

I was learning to paint a landscape picture using different paint skills. I found drag tricky because I didn't put enough dark blue in. I am proud of the grass which I did using card print.

I have been learning to compare and order fractions. I know that 3/4 is less than 4/4 and I can use the picture to help me. Next I would like to compare fractions that don't have the same denominator.

MY REFLECTION

I was learning to summarise information by putting it in my own words.

I found it difficult to put the information into my own words and record with a partner. 

I found the new story interesting.

I was learning about different strategies to add 2 numbers.
I am good at using Algorithm but I need to work on the Rounding and Compensating strategy.
My teacher can help me with this.

MY CAMP REFLECTION

This photo shows I had fun in rock climbing. I am proud of climbing to the top of the wall. I would like to have a go blind folded. I would like to get better at abseiling. I enjoyed camp and I would like to go back.

I was learning to write a Kenning's Poem about myself. I had to find words that describe what I like and do. I am proud I got it finished, Ella helped me. I need to work on using a thesaurus to find better words.
